ENGAGEMENT:
POLLOCK PAPER
NATIONAL PAPER DISTRIBUTOR
As a contracted Network Engineer from Whittman-Hart, I have designed
and implemented a wide area network for this client using VPN technology
over the Internet cutting communication cost dramatically. I have
designed and implemented secured VPN tunnels over the Internet and encapsulated
SNA traffic into IP so the remote cluster controllers can communicate with
the IBM host. Also implemented an Intranet and deployed web and proxy
servers.
ENGAGEMENT:
CITIGROUP
WORLDWIDE FINANCIAL COMPANY
As a Network Analyst I have designed and managed WAN, implemented Novell
Directory Services (NDS), Windows NT, Intranet, Internet Access, Firewall
solutions, and drive arrays with RAID 5 technology. Implemented TCP/IP
with subnetting using DHCP technology. Participated in a project
to design xDSL access method in front of Frame Relay Network. Designed
and implemented corporate-wide backup systems using Arcserve.
ENGAGEMENT:
MCI/WORLDCOM
GLOBAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY
As a Hyperstream Frame Relay Engineer I have worked in a team of network
gurus to design and replace FDDI with Gigabit Ethernet at MCI's backbone
nodes. Involved in the implementation of xDSL access method. Other
duties included stress testing of MCT circuits to find bottlenecks and
monitor fragment and reassembly of packets at the backbone nodes. This
was all done in the simulated lab environment. (One of the most sophisticated
network lab in the world)
ENGAGEMENT:
INTERNET CONSULTING (OVERSEAS PROJECT)
Designed and implemented 500+ users multiple T1 Internet access with
Cisco PIX Firewall solution. I was also responsible for working with all
levels of end-users in the maintenance of clients Intranet, and the development
of Extranet that housed a customer self-service application.
